When my friend Chris wasn't available to photograph a special proposal for Miles, I gladly stepped in to document this special moment! I love our community of photographers in Charleston - our connection to each other means if we aren't available, we have a network of wonderful photographer friends to refer to.
But back to Miles. He and Sarah have been dating for 8 years, and Sarah was more than ready for him to propose! Miles told her he had to go to Charleston for work, but in reality there were no meetings planned. He made up some fictional dinner reservations to get Sarah to Washington Square by 6pm, where Marie and I were waiting behind trees. Spoiler - she said YES! Miles and Sarah gave us EVERYTHING, and the proposal was so much fun to capture. Afterwards we walked around downtown and took some engagement photos. It was a picture-perfect proposal!
