Middleton Place is a 30-minute drive from downtown Charleston. The plantation is a historic landmark and home to the oldest landscaped gardens in the United States. It offers sweeping views of the Ashley River, a Colonial Stableyard, beautiful gardens and ponds. Middleton Place is a wonderful location for family photos, engagements, etc. Especially if you are there when the azaleas (March/April) or camellias (Fall/Winter) are in bloom!
The photography permit fee is $175 and includes entry for up to 4 people.
